Annie Oelmann
Performance and success-oriented from an early age, Annie Oelmann decided to study business administration at a prestigious German private university. After graduating, she achieved her goal: at the age of 22, she went to London to work as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch. Her starting salary was almost €100,000.
However, she soon realized that the investment banker lifestyle did not meet her needs at all, but that she had been chasing an illusory self-affirmation. So she followed her gut, quit after only six months, and for the first time in her life let herself drift without a plan.
This led her to music: first, she played drums in a London electro band for years, then continued as a solo DJ and moved to Berlin. She is now a resident DJ and party series host at the famously infamous KitKatClub, and performs in various Berlin clubs, at corporate, and private events.
And as if that wasn’t enough: a few years ago, she decided to study her passion again – now she is about to graduate with a master’s degree in psychology.
