Mirijam Trunk

Journalist, author, media manager

What drives you?
I am convinced that equal opportunities and economic performance are linked. If we create the framework conditions that allow all people to develop according to their talents and ambitions – and that also means confronting our own imprints and thought patterns – we will benefit from this as a society, but also as a location.

The best advice you’ve ever received?
We’re not operating on an open heart here – a phrase that always helps me to keep a light and pragmatic approach and therefore a clear head in most situations.

What are you learning right now that you’re not so good at yet?
Thanks to my little daughter: to have patience and give up control.

What would you change if you had the power?
Reform the civil service system.

Which superheroine power would you like to have?
Mind-reading.
