Naomi Ryland was born in England, came to Berlin for a year in 2005 and has stayed until today.

Among other things, she studied intercultural conflict management, worked for the aid organisation Oxfam, co-founded the social enterprise tbd* and the association for social entrepreneurs SEND.

She also wrote the book Starting a Revolution: What we can learn from women entrepreneurs about the future of the world of work and published the SPIEGEL bestseller Unlearn Patriarchy.

She has also partied a lot and most recently carried a baby.
