What drives you?
Making the world of work healthy and human.
The best advice you’ve ever gotten?
Just because no one admits to listening doesn’t mean no one is listening. (When I first started talking publicly about mental health, the topic was rather stepmotherly and coupled with secrecy, there was a moment when I thought: this is all useless. The advice helped me to see that many people secretly listen when in doubt).
What are you learning right now that you’re not so good at yet?
As a new mom, especially patience and letting go of my perfectionism (I just don’t have time for perfection anymore).
What would you change if you had the power to do so?
Breaking down hurtful power structures and promoting an image of humanity that is characterized by humility and curiosity instead of judgment and walls.
What superheroine power would you like to have?
Beaming for a quick nap on the beach. Traveling into the future to see what we should definitely be working on today.
Nora Dietrich
Nora Dietrich is a mental health expert by heart, a psychotherapist by profession and a passionate speaker. Nora works at the intersection of the megatrends of health and new work. As an expert and keynote speaker, she supports people and organizations in creating healthy conditions for the best possible work. She helps teams and managers to answer the question: What do we need to do our best work and stay healthy? She makes organizations fit for the future by shedding light on the psychology of change, human barriers to the future and mental health at work in her presentations. She advises organizations strategically and on the implementation of New Work. As a mentor, she supports digital health entrepreneurs in developing new solutions that improve the accessibility and quality of mental health.
In all of this, the behavioral psychotherapist builds on her experience in inpatient and outpatient care. For Nora, it is clear that change requires empathy, trust, courage and, last but not least, a little humor. Her clients include start-ups such as Ecosia, the nu-company, Soundcloud and SMEs such as Metafinanz Informationssysteme GmbH, Audible, Westwing and corporates such as Siemens, Accenture and Daimler USA.
