Why does it need MMW VOICES?
Too loud, too silent, too much, too little, too demanding, too humble.
Most women and women-identified people know blanket attributions like these. If they are one thing, they are not the other. If they want this, they don’t want that.
Thinking in categories often leads to situations, where not enough perspectives are seen and heard, and where some of them even stay invisible.
The fact is that women are underrepresented on stage. We must and want to change this by giving them space, offering them platforms and ensuring that they are heard.
The pressing issues of our time call for new narratives, diverse thoughts, and for people that share their expertise to break the mould, and shatter silos.
With MMW VOICES we want to bring women and women-identified people on stage and give them a voice. Our mission: more women-identified speakers. More feminine perspectives. More diversity. More inclusion. Simply more. And all of this is independent from typically female topics.
